Catalog description
This course focuses on the holistic nursing care of the pediatric client and family. The holistic care of the pediatric client and family will focus on the normal principles of growth and development from the neonate through adolescence. Common pediatric health and wellness issues, as well as age-related health risks and common childhood health issues will be discussed. 52.5 hours are spent in lecture and 22.5 hours in clinical/simulation.
