Catalog description

This course focuses on the holistic nursing care of the childbearing and childrearing family, including care of the childbearing family during pregnancy, labor, and delivery, and postpartum through normal pregnancy and birth as well as common high-risk conditions. The holistic care of the childrearing family will also focus on the normal principles of growth and development from conception to postpartum. 52.5 hours are spent in lecture and 22.5 hours in clinical/simulation.
