Catalog description

This course will expand on the knowledge and application of the nursing process, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, and evidence-based practice when caring for acutely and critically ill adults. Emphasis is placed on the safe and effective nursing care of patients with complex medical and surgical problems. Clinical experiences will also include leadership and management principles in providing safe care to individuals, families, and populations.
