This course will build on the principles learned about fundamental nursing practice and pharmacologic intervention as well as pathophysiology to concentrate on the care of adult clients with a variety of chronic disease processes. Maslow’s hierarchy, the nursing process, and evidence-based practice guide the delivery of safe and effective nursing care with an emphasis on promoting wellness and quality of life.
