Catalog description
This course introduces fundamental concepts and essential principles of nursing care. Students will use Maslow’s theory, the nursing process, and QSEN principles as foundational concepts in the delivery of holistically based nursing care. In addition to 45 lecture hours, students will spend 30 laboratory hours learning and refining essential nursing skills and actions. The clinical role of the nurse will be emphasized through 45 clinical hours.
