Catalog description
Students will examine the role of the nurse in caring for diverse groups of people. Concepts of holistic health promotion, disease prevention, and basic epidemiological measures are applied to diverse populations as students explore the role of the community health nurse. Students will also discuss response systems and nursing management strategies for disasters that impact populations and communities.
