BIO365 Pharmacological Principles

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the complexities of medication administration in today’s nursing practice. Students will learn principles of medical pharmacology, pharmacodynamics, drug classification, and effect on client health and well-being. Emphasis is placed on safe drug administration utilizing parenteral and enteral routes. Nonconventional therapies and alternative treatment options to restore wellness will be examined.
