Catalog description

This course provides a solid foundation and understanding of key concepts of pathophysiology with an emphasis on knowledge needed for nursing care of clients experiencing alterations in normal function. Utilizing a systems format, the course is taught with an appreciation for the interdependence of body structures on a microscopic and macroscopic level, with an understanding of how abnormal function in one structure, group, or organ affects the rest of the body.
