Career and Technical Education Class Hours: 2 hours lecture. Semester Credit Hours: 2 This course is designed to present an overview of the principles of radiation protection including the responsibilities of the radiographer for patients, personnel, and the public. Radiation health and safety requirements of federal and state regulatory agencies, accreditation agencies, and healthcare organizations are incorporated. Prerequisite(s): RGT 1213
