Liberal Arts Class Hours: 6 class hours per week and 9 clinical hours per week. Semester Credit Hours: 9 This course continues to emphasize the human as a unique physical being with multiple physiologic and psychosocial needs. This course further explores the components of health and focuses on patient-centered care in the medical-surgical environment. Evidenced-based principles of care provide the rationale for nursing interventions that promote safe, effective patient outcomes. Prerequisite(s): NUR 1119 or NUR 1113 Prerequisite(s)/Co-requisite(s): PSY 2533 , and PSY 1513
