Concepts of Airway and Respiratory Medicine

Catalog description

Career and Technical Education Class Hours: 2 hours lecture. Semester Credit Hours: 2 This course integrates complex knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology into the assessment to develop and implement a treatment plan with the goal of assuring a patient airway, adequate mechanical ventilation, and respiration for patients of all ages. Prerequisite(s): Current NREMT and State of MS EMT certifications, Current AHA BLS card and acceptance per the program admissions procedures
