Career and Technical Education Class Hours: 2 hours lecture and 12 hours lab Semester Credit Hours: 6 This course consists of the study of properties of the hair and scalp; principles of hair design; shampooing, rinsing, and conditioning; haircutting; hairstyling; braiding and braid extensions; wigs and hair enhancements; chemical texture services; and hair coloring.
