Liberal Arts Class Hours: 3 hours lecture and 2 hours lab. Semester Credit Hours: 4 A combined lecture and laboratory course that covers the anatomical and physiological study of the human body as an integrated whole. The course includes detailed studies of: biological principles; tissues; and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular and nervous systems. Labs associated with this course contain experiments and exercises that reinforce the principles introduced in lecture classes. Prerequisite(s): Minimum ACT score of 21 on the Science component, or BIO 1134 , BIO 1144 , or CHE 1214 , or admission to a health-related program at JC, or permission of instructor
