Career and Technical Education Class Hours: 2 hours lecture and 4 hours lab. Semester Credit Hours: 4 Introduction to heat load calculations for residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Includes air distribution, duct sizing, selection of grills and registers, types of fans, air velocity, and fan performance. Introduces air testing instruments and computer usage
