This course covers the principles of automatic industrial control and the operation of the proportional, integral, and derivative control modes. Advanced concepts of cascade, ratio, and feedforward control modes are presented. Methods of controller tuning and a systematic approach to troubleshooting single- and multi-loop control loops are covered. Relationship of pressure, level and flow temperature loops to system control is covered. ~
