Professional Practice I

Catalog description

In this course, students will utilize the JJC lab and/or various clinical sites for supervised professional practice. This experience will provide hands-on application of health information technology processes. Emphasis will be on MPI and other health care data management, chart deficiency, chart tracking applications, release of information and medical transcription.
