An introduction to the study of Earth's origin, composition, and structures. Special emphasis is placed on internal and external processes affecting landscape development. Lab topics include mineral and rock identification, topographic map interpretation, earthquakes, volcanoes, glaciers, streams, coastal processes, deserts, and geological time. ~
