Catalog description

This course provides an advanced examination of the relationship between nutrition and both acute and chronic clinical conditions. Concepts include the influence of nutrition on the prevention and treatment of diseases, as well as the effects of nutrition-related diseases on physiological functions in the body. The development and implementation of appropriate nutrition therapy for individuals are also examined. Prerequisite(s): NUTR5100 , NUTR5200 . Offered at Online, Providence 3 Semester Credits
