Catalog description
This course builds on the concepts from Foundations in Nursing Practice and Care of the Adult I. In this course students apply the concepts needed to provide care to clients who are experiencing acute illnesses. Clients experiencing health issues for the neurological, cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, endocrine, renal, and fluid/electrolyte/acid base balance systems are addressed within the course. This course, with its related theory/didactic course, begins the transition of practice from nursing student to novice professional nurse. Prerequisite(s): NURS4210 , NURS4220 , NURS4250 , NURS4260 , NURS4310 , NURS4340 , Corequisite: NURS4420 , NURS4430 , NURS4460 . Offered at Charlotte, Providence 4 Semester Credits
