Catalog description
This course is designed to offer students a critical analysis of interpersonal, social and cultural barriers related to women and leadership positions/roles within organizations in the US. Through a review of selected autobiographical stories of female leaders and historical data that explains the challenges faced by women within society, students develop a greater understanding of issues related to female leaders. In addition, students study the existing biases and expectations found in current organizations in order to identify ways to reduce the gender divide within their organizations. Prerequisite(s): MGMT5800 . Offered at Online, Providence 3 Semester Credits
