Catalog description

This course acquaints students with the medical humanities. Students learn how studying the humanities contributes to an understanding of issues related to health and illness. In this course students are introduced to the study of disease, disability, healthcare and wellness through the lenses of history, religion, philosophy and the arts. Prerequisite(s): ENG0001 or placement, ENG1020 or ENG1024 , sophomore status. Offered at Online, Providence 3 Semester Credits
