This course is intended to give students an in-depth analysis of consumer motivation for participatory travel relating to hands-on experiences, involved education and adventure tours. Focus is on the management of businesses whose products provide deeply memorable experiences for those participating in an activity. The course examines ecotourism, culture-based tourism, gastro-tourism and adventure travel.
