Catalog description

Major developments in world history from the 16th century to the present are considered with an emphasis on the impact of ideas and influences from Asia, Africa and the Americas upon European culture and society and the European impact upon Asia, Africa and the Americas. Emphasis is placed on the various revolutions — industrial, democratic, political, technological, military, social and cultural — that marked this period of time. Prerequisite(s): ENG1020 or ENG1024 or English placement. Offered at Charlotte, Online, Providence 3 Semester Credits
