Catalog description

In this course, students assemble, design and present a comprehensive professional portfolio that integrates both print and digital formats. Students refine and showcase their best design work, demonstrating design principles and a cohesive personal brand identity. Through hands-on exploration, they translate projects into multiple presentation platforms, including print, PDF and web-based formats. The course emphasizes usability, accessibility, visual consistency and storytelling to communicate each designer’s unique strengths. By the end of the course, students present and defend their portfolio in a professional critique environment, preparing them for internships and career opportunities in the design field. Prerequisite(s): GDES1060 , GDES2030 , sophomore status. Offered at Providence 3 Semester Credits
