This course is an in-depth analysis of how individuals and firms make decisions under conditions of scarcity. Topics examined are consumer choice, demand and supply, elasticity, cost functions, market structures, profit maximization, optimal pricing, game theory and market failures. Prerequisite(s): ECON1002 , MATH1035 , sophomore status. Offered at Charlotte, Providence 3 Semester Credits
