Catalog description
This course explores the essential skills required to become an effective leader and supervisor in community agency settings. Topics include development of interpersonal intelligence (emotional intelligence, communication and conflict resolution skills, and ethical counseling supervision skills) and intrapersonal intelligence (time-management skills, self-care skills and personal leadership style exploration). Students develop and articulate a personal leadership style through readings, reflections and exercises in communication and leadership effectiveness. Prerequisite(s): CSLG5250 , CSLG5300 . Offered at Providence 3 Semester Credits
