Catalog description

This introductory course familiarizes students with fundamental problem-solving techniques in the context of modern IT computing and automation. Students are introduced to and develop a working knowledge of Linux command-line operations, PowerShell scripting, and basic Python programming, applying these tools to automate tasks, manage systems, and solve real-world problems. The course emphasizes algorithmic thinking, data analysis, and the creation of efficient, repeatable solutions. Offered at Providence 3 Semester Credits
