Designing New Ventures

Catalog description

A capstone course to be taken in the student's last 12 hours in which students will develop a new revenue-generating business idea and move it from concept to prototype using design thinking and business model experiments. This course will provide a holistic understanding of new venture design by considering the financial implications of the students' design choices in the form of a business plan and by pitching the idea to diverse audiences.
