Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the study of the plant and animal kingdoms, emphasizing adaptive aspects of anatomy, physiology, classification and relationships within plants and animals. Major taxa in each kingdom will be emphasized. Three hours lecture-discussion per week. This course meets three hours of the Natural Science with lab requirement of the Core Curriculum. This lecture must be taken with BIO 1141.
