Catalog description

An introductory survey of biology course designed for liberal arts students. Topics addressed include the nature of science, cellular processes, genetics, biotechnology, evolution, biodiversity, ecology, and the integration of science and Christianity. Two hours lecture-discussion per week. This course must be taken with BIO 1001. Meets two hours of the Natural Science with lab requirement of the Core Curriculum.
