Provides instruction on the fundamental structure of the human body and the physiological mechanisms involved in normal functioning through lecture and student participation in laboratory activities. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours). Laboratory: 1 credit (30 contact hours).

"1.) Must take with Lab component BIO 135 55L1. 2.) Hybrid Course - This section has both an in person and online component. Students enrolling in this section must have reliable access to a computer with Internet capabilities and a video camera. Students must log onto http://elearning.kctcs.edu/ for instructions on accessing their course site. In the event of a campus closure the frequency and/or mode of delivery for class meetings may change. Please see the syllabus for more specific information. This course may require you to have a Webcam and Microphone so that the exams can be proctored using Respondus Monitor and Lockdown Browser.
