Catalog description

Veterinary Technology Medical Terminology introduces students to the language of veterinary medicine, emphasizing the structure, meaning, and correct usage of medical terminology used in animal healthcare. Students will learn the word parts (prefixes, suffixes, and roots) that form medical terms, enabling them to accurately interpret, construct, and communicate clinical information within a veterinary setting. Emphasis is placed on terminology related to anatomy, physiology, pathology, diagnostics, pharmacology, and common veterinary procedures across multiple species. (F)
