Catalog description

Prerequisite: Admission into the Jefferson College Nursing Program Level II/RN and reading proficiency. Corequisite: RNR230 Adult Health Nursing I Clinical builds upon previously developed adult medical surgical knowledge and skills and allows the student to plan, prioritize, implement and evaluate nursing care of adults with complex health problems. This clinical course transitions the student from the Practical Nurse role to the Professional Nurse role. Students are divided into smaller groups for both clinical simulation and clinical rotation assignments. (F, S)
