Catalog description

Prerequisites: Admission into the Jefferson College RN Program and reading proficiency. Corequisite: RNR231 Adult Health Nursing I is the first of two courses designed for students to build upon their basic knowledge of medical-surgical nursing and to develop their clinical reasoning skills as a professional nurse. Nursing concepts of sensory disorders, peri-operative care, integumentary management, fluid balance, endocrine disorders, cardiac disorders, and respiratory disorders will be explored. (F, S)
