Catalog description

Pre-requisite and/or Co-requisite: Registered Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), or second year Radiologic Technology student in their final semester of an accredited radiography program. This course is designed to provide an ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist the structured educational requirements needed to be eligible to take their ARRT post-secondary Mammography (M) registry and 40 hours of initial education requirements needed for Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) approval . Each of the three content areas for the ARRT exam will be covered, including: patient care, image production, and procedures (Su).
