Capstone PN Clinical Practicum

Prerequisites: PNE172 with a grade of “B” or better, successful completion of PNE182, PNE164, and reading proficiency Corequisites: PNE195 Capstone Practical Nursing Clinical Practicum allows students the opportunity to synthesize their clinical knowledge in the practical nurse role 1:1 with a licensed nurse preceptor. The clinical practicum preceptorship is a specifically designed experience for the novice student to work with an experienced nurse. The goal is to support knowledge, skills, ethical and legal values, while bridging the gap between nursing education and clinical practice. (F, Su).
