Prerequisites: Admission into the Paramedic Program. Corerequisites: PAR220, and PAR225 Paramedic Advanced Cardiology prepares the student to identify life threatening and non-life threatening cardiac emergencies. The student will learn how to analyze standard 4-lead and 12-lead Electrocardiogram (ECG) information and determine a plan of action.The student will learn to manage cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies using the American Heart Association standards.
