Prerequisites: Admission into the Paramedic Program and reading proficiency Corequisites: PAR205, PAR220, and PAR225 Paramedic Advanced Care and Terminology prepares the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) student to understand medical legal and ethical issues, EMS systems, safety and wellness, EMS communication, documentation, anatomy and physiology, and both basic and advanced medical terminology.
