Catalog description

Prerequisites: Admission to the Law Enforcement Academy and reading proficiency Report Writing for Law Enforcement includes the study and application of the process of effective law enforcement report writing. Proper formal written communications formats with an emphasis on report writing techniques, including the latest formats used by law enforcement agencies. This course uses the current Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) curriculum to prepare the student for current law enforcement report writing methods. (D)
