Prerequisites: Reading proficiency and one of the following: GED score of 165-174 within two years Accuplacer sentence skills (English) score of 57-91 within two years ACT English score of 17 or less within two years Corequisite: ENG101 Foundations of English Composition is taken concurrently with English Composition I (ENG 101) to give students additional practice with the writing skills, reading skills, and contextualized study skills necessary for successful, independent completion of academic writing projects.
