Intro to Audio Technology

Catalog description

Prerequisite: None Intro to Audio Technology is a general survey of the technology and skills used in various audio disciplines. This course details how we as humans perceive sound and how said sound is processed into various audio formats, as well as the hardware and software necessary to capture and play audio. Students will gain experience working with digital audio workstations (DAWs) to edit, manipulate, and distribute audio projects.(S)
