Pre/Co-requisite: COL100, COL101, COL103, or EDU105 and reading proficiency Career Pathways in College explores career possibilities and helps students make informed decisions regarding academic and professional futures. This course offers a supportive and interactive approach where students engage in career exploration activities that help clarify interests, skills, and potential pathways. After exploring possible career options, students will gain an overview of workplace standards, create career portfolios to include a resume and cover letter, participation in job shadowing activities, and develop positive interview skills. Through coursework, students will have a clearer understanding of career goals, a tailored action plan for selecting a major that aligns with career aspirations, and the foundational skills necessary for successful employment.
