Prerequisite: Reading Proficiency Description: Biology for Majors I is a comprehensive introduction to the Biological World and the major themes driving its study. This course focuses on the unifying principles of evolution and the cell theory to inform a 2-semester sequence that encompasses all aspects of modern Biology from the chemistry of living things to the biosphere and all its ecosystems.
