Introduction to Radiography

Catalog description

Prerequisite: Admission into the program. This course provides students with an overview of radiography and its role in the health care delivery system. Topics include the history of medical imaging, professional organizations, legal and ethical issues, health care delivery systems, radiation protection, and medical terminology. Upon completion, students will demonstrate foundational knowledge of the radiologic science profession.
