Catalog description

This course is designed to promote an understanding of the structure, analysis and management of medical records through classroom instruction and outside lab. Emphasis is on filing and managing medical records, coding of diseases, operations and procedures, and the legal aspects of medical records. Upon completion, the student should be able to maintain medical records efficiently. (F)
