Catalog description

This course provides the practical application and integration of histology theory and practice using case studies. Topics include laboratory operations and accreditation processes, professional and ethical issues, laboratory management principles and preparation for the certification examination. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate level skills as a histotechnician and be prepared to sit for the histotechnician certification examination.
