Catalog description
This course covers the chronological and global development of different forms of visual art, such as sculpture, painting, and architecture. Emphasis is placed on art history from the ancient period through the Middle Ages. Upon completion, students should be able to communicate a knowledge of time period and chronological sequence including a knowledge of themes, styles and of the impact of society on the arts.
