Catalog description

This course focuses on the development and application of rhetorical strategies and tools used in writing about science and technology for a contemporary, general audience. As citizen-interpreters, students analyze and produce writing designed to make even 'hard' science and technology accessible, with particular attention to narrative, to the framing of policy issues, and to establishing relevance.
