Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the major theories, issues and contributors in the field of technical and scientific communication. Students explore global, print and electronic communication, ethical and legal issues, and the project cycle. They start with rhetorical analyses of audiences and progress through deliverables. Students learn to problem solve through a variety of technical communication projects and develop their career interests in chosen technical communication fields.
