An exploration of professional theatre practices in Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA), including Theatre for the Very Young (TVY) and Theatre for Teens. With an emphasis on theatre-making, this course examines historical contexts of TYA, investigates theatre companies and practitioners and identifies applications for education, outreach and engagement.
